While it's been an occasional problem forever, in the last week or so Yahoo SMTP has been a major issue. While the connection doctor shows connection with the IMAP server, the outgoing just keeps trying to connect. Meanwhile I get multiple messages saying to re-enter my password, to try sending with another server or to re-try. Usually after 10 or 15 minutes it will connect and the email will go out. This is really a hassle as that account is my primary account. Anyone else had this recently? I am having no problems at all with the web account or with mail on my iPhone.....only on the Mac.
