Worked fine on iOS 8.0, 8.0.2 & 8.1. Consistently fails now.

The graphic/info will sometimes flash for a brief second or so and then go black with an error message "Unable to Load". This is occurring on iPhone 6, iPhone 5, iPad 4 and iPad Mini-R, all upgraded to iOS 8.1.1 on the day upgrade was made available (Monday, 11/17/14.)

Removed and reinstalled with no change.

Anyone else seeing this? Very annoying.

(Posted in this forum because problem seems to be related to iOS 8.1.1 upgrade.)

Yes, happening here on my iPad 4 and 5s. They probably need to update the app.

Thanks for replying. I wonder how I can light a fire under their backsides so it gets fixed ASAP? The only place I find to even make a report is on my devices, thru the App Store Yahoo Weather entry as a product review.

No issue with the yahoo widget on my Iphone 6.

Not sure, but check out the Weather Underground app. It has a real nice widget and plenty of information. I may be ditching Yahoo weather for WU.

I uninstalled it because of it. I now use weather underground

Same here on iP6. Also believe it may have been partial cause of battery drain as well. I disabled it from NC until they get it fixed.
