HomeKit Yale Lock With HomeKey?

Just got this in my email today. Hopefully it’s Yale’s version of a HomeKey. The Yale Assure (with August Connect) has been one of my most reliable devices and it think it looks great. Best part for me is no physical keyhole that can be picked.

Would Yale have the balls to release a new lock without HomeKey considering the high demand for the Schlage Encode + ? Looks really good in this image too.

False alert… 😒. They just released this lock on the website and no mention of HomeKey whatsoever. Bad move I presume. I’m sure most people such as myself are waiting for HomeKey locks or at least for the Schlage Encode Plus to be back in stock. Love the Yale locks but it’s a hard pass for me.
