Time to buy a new one.

Just randomly my ipod died as it was working yesterday. Today I plug it into my iBook and nothing and then I look, and the inside of the screen is cracked. I think it's dead. It wont respond to anything. My extended warranty is up. I guess my only choice is to buy a new one.

How on earth have you managed to kill five iPods in two years?! Do you juggle them? Put them in the outside pockets of your pants and then skateboard and fall down a lot? I mean, I can see getting one defective one, but I can't imagine five dying in two years due to anything other than user negligence. Screens don't crack on their own, after all.

Sorry, but I have to ask you get a really good hard case!

5 iPods? Your like a serial killer for iPods ;)

But ya, invest in a hardcase!

Spontaneous lcd cracking? That's new.
5 ipods? I don't know if I'd replace my ipod 5 times.

I'm on my 2nd (Sending it in to Apple because the headphone jack isn't working)

If this next one is defective, I'm buying a used 1G Shuffle- NEVER had single problem with mine.

Oh, and good luck on this being your final iPod.

Sorry, but screens don't just "randomly" crack. Be a little more gentle on your iPods!

i managed to crack my 5g ipods screen when i sat down on it (in the back pocket of my jeans) with the headphones wrapped up on top of the screen that is a lot of force (im not fat or obese):apple: :apple: :apple: :apple:
