ycant i manually reset airport xtreem?still asks wpa.

i have a couple apxtreems and i cant get into one. i pushed in the little white button and it wont leme in still. i thought that was suposed to restore to default. and the weird thing is; i never before turned on security. it was alway a free network. so i dont no even y its there in the first place. i just want to turn it off and get in there.

I've not got one of them, but I do have an express - you have to unplug it, hold in the button, and plug it back in. After about 30 seconds it does a full reset.

Perhaps it's a similar method for the Extreme base station?

so i have to plug it in wile holding it down? and/or if not then how long do i hold it down for?

i just held it down for like 10 secs and it reset, thanx again!
