Opted for the iTouch and a flippin iPhone while there.

Lol how did u order the custom specs while at the store? (Assuming the redhead hottie was in store)...

None the less nice purchases!

I assume you bought the RAM from Apple.

That's really the only bad thing about this scenario... unless you either couldn't afford it, you have a WIFE at home, or both.

Agreed; RAM upgrades from Apple are hideously overpriced. Jesus Christ, $500 for 2 GB of RAM? I could do the same for $30. Makes me wanna open my own computer shop just for Apple-loving idiots. Even if I charged $240 for parts and labor, I'm making 700%.

The computer was already in the store. I was asking about the upgrade HD and a guy there said they had one with the HD as well as the RAM. So I took it.

Didn't get the redheads # or myspace but I did get a cute smile and a come back again!
:D

Damn right you got a "Come back again!" She saw the €€€/$$$ and commission :D :D

Dude, I am ugly, and can get a smile and a 'come back again', if I bought 3k worth of stuff from some hot chick. ;)

Just messing with ya, you need to go back up there, and get SOMETHING from her. Be it a number, or her myspace.

Sweet, that's what I bought late last month. (Except with a 1TB drive.)

Hi5.

(Gotta love student discounts)

I went with the Apple RAM upgrade on my iMac as well. Sure, I was capable to upgrade the RAM myself, but I went nuts on my purchase.

Not to hijack the post here, but why would you buy an iPhone and an iPod Touch? Kinda redundant isn't it?

BTW just got myself the 24" 3.06GHz with 1TB drive and ordered 4GB of OCZ RAM from NewEgg. That's one sweet machine. :)

Excellent purchase! You will not be disappointed. I have had mine for almost a week now and love it. Got the free iPod touch as well as the 500GB Time Capsule.

Already have an iPhone, so may be looking at selling the touch...enjoy the new toy!

Was gonna get a TimeCapsule myself, but I can't justify $500 for a wireless HD when I can build one myself for $229. Yeah it's not a wireless hub and or a wireless HD, but it's still a 1TB TimeMachine solution. :)
