Hello, I have a 2.4ghz late 2008 MBP and when I look at a black screen at an angle, the backlight is yellow.. is this what everyone else backlight look like?

there is also little "domes" of light from the bottom of the screen.

Here are some pics..

000_281 is a straight on shot.. the yellow is no longer visible when looking straight on.

you can see the little domes of light though.

my backlight doesn't appear to be yellow when i'm looking at an angle on it...if you'd like to see a picture, tell me.
and the bottom of my screen looks similar to yours...
you can get another MBP, there is a possibility that it'll have a better LCD, but if yellow becomes invisible when looking straight on, why don't you just ignore it?

With TN panels, there are going to be a yellow tint when viewing the screen at an angle. The light at the bottom is the backlight which is bleeding thorough the screen.

it seems like the screen is somewhat "dingey" looking (especially with stock calibration).. and when I calibrate it every color looks fine, except the "shadowing" that dashboard does looks light green instead of light black.
