iPod touch Yellow screen when I turn iPod Touch on

So I have someone coming over to buy my iPod Touch in 15 minutes, and of course something has gone wrong. When I turn it on, I just see a very faint yellow screen. Nothing else. If I connect it to my computer while running iTunes, nothing happens. What's going on?

Edit: Spoke too soon. I was able to get the iPod Touch to reset and saw that the battery was out of charge. Seems to be fine now. Oy.

Could it be what's described here? If so, it sounds like you just need to let it charge for a while...

I realise the linked info is about an iPhone, but the problem may be the same.
