I just recently sold my old 2007 iMac. The person just recently messaged me that it has a defective yellowish dark screen.

I have always remember the screen looking that way from the day that i bought it. I even heard a rumor that all the old iMac scenes looked that way, before the mid-2008 model. But after trying to find some proof of that, it seems everyone online says it isn't supposed to look like this?

Did i have a faulty scene from the moment i bought it, or does it indeed have a typically darker yellowish screen?

Thanks

Without the possibility of spending money, there's not a lot one can do with a machine of that age. After all, you were quite satisfied with it during the years you had it.

I would explain these points to your purchaser and if he's still not happy, let him return it.

What other people think is quite irrelevant.
