Hey folks,

I just got my MBP today, and I thought everything was perfect at the beginning. No bent, no crooked keys etc.

But after using it for a while, I realized that the screen is VERY yellowish when you look at it from the sides. It even casts golden rays on the aluminium casing. Is this normal? Or screen calibration will fix the problem?

Thanks guys.

Same here. But then the last four I have had also have displayed the same symptoms. I believe this is perfectly normal. Doesn't bother me one bit.

calibrate it (i prefer to do this in a dark room to eliminate any glare), that usually fixes the problem. out of the box mbp's come with a crappy color profile.

If you are only seeing from extreme angles (45 degrees or more) it's normal. Every single LED backlight display I've seen is like this. If it's not yellow when looking straight on then it's fine.

Hmmm... didn't notice this... of course I came from Dell XPS M1330 and the LCD on macbooks are much better!

Any good profile that you'd recommend?
