I just received a very old and long time unused MacBook Black 2007/08 (MacBook3,1) the LCD has a very bad yellowish tint, very obvious when viewing white images.. Is it possible to remove the backlight panel without replacing the entire LCD display? I already change the inverter board but was thinking if its possible to replace the backlight panel itself. LCD is still working, just pretty annoying. Pictures up in a while

Could it be your color profile setting? Go to system preferences and change to another color profile under display settings.
