1 iphone locked to rogers network fw 2.1 unlocked via turbo sim to be used in ireland

1 iphone locked to att wanting to be unlocked to use with rogers sim

went right away to jailbreak iphones with 2.2, but modem version wouldn't change, so went into itunes, restored iphone to 2.2 so modem version changes to 2.28 and then go thru the pwnage tool and jailbreak. then launch yellowsn0w in cydia and everything works

i gotta say thank you to the iphone dev team for this remarkable tool.

if anyone needs help with the process just pm me and ill be more then happy to help

I don't really need it, since I'm happy with O2, and my free 12 months data is on the SIM. I may get it to see if it works, and use up the £5 left on my old phone, however. :)

OP, I want to buy an iphone 3g, unlock it for tmobile. When you are unlocking it, do you need to update it through itunes with a custom firmware file and winpwn or can you just use a normal Apple firmware 2.2 file? I am kind of confused on the jailbreaking process.

i have tmobile and it works great! if you reboot you must use airplane mode to bring carrier back.
