Hi everyone!

I just got my iPhone 3G replaced yesterday because of a battery issue. Now I have a brand spankin' new one, that I don't want to ruin! (My other one was in scratch heaven- caused by others using my phone... I don't mishandle my Apple products, I swear!).

Since this iPhone is new, I want to protect it well. The thing is, I absolutely HATE putting cases on my phone. I never liked the feel and bulkiness of it. It just looked so unnatural for me.
I currently have a silicon case on it for some temporary protection, and I absolutely hate it.

So, what I'm looking for in a case:
  • Something stylish
  • Something that is thin, and doesn't make the phone look bulky
  • Is not a silicon case (solid cases that have a smooth finish are preferable)
  • A case that looks natural with the phone, and doesn't look like there is just a case stuck on there.
  • Nothing extremely expensive. Maybe $30 tops. But any recommendations are welcome.

Any suggestions? Haha, I know I'm picky.

But thank you! :)

With all the case threads around nothing suits you?
Best Skins Ever
Invisible Shield
Capsule Rebel
iFrogz Lux
Incase Slider

Perfect case

Check out the contour range of iphone cases, I think these are some of the most aesthetically appealing cases - mine cost me £10 ($16)

Be careful.... Thread police Que is lurking and will let you know there are other posts about cases..... Bodyguardz FTW, naked yet protected. Get 2 for the price and lifetime replacement.

Wanted: iPhone case, must be:

Attractive, but not gaudy
Clear, but with an attractive color
Not too bulky, but not too thin
Smooth, but not slippery
Not leather, plastic, silicon, organic, or inorganic
Not too tight
Not too loose
Waterproof, scratch proof, baby proof, bar proof, beach proof, wife proof
Not really shiny, but not too matte
Something absolutely unique
Uncomplicated to install and use
Inexpensive

Why can't I seem to find anything like this? Why?

im a die hard invisible shield user...they can be a pain to put on...it took me about 90 minutes with my 2g and about 30 mins with my 3GS, but if you follow directions, it fits great and looks PERFECT. You can't even tell its there unless you look up close and at the right angle.

also, invisible shield has a lifetime warrantee....if your invisible shield ever starts to discolor, scratch, or peel up over time, just call up invisible shield and theyll send you a new one for free, just ship the old one back (after you receive the new one, so you dont have to go any time without a shield on)

Thank you for all of the wonderful suggestions guys! I will definitely look into them. It's greatly appreciated. :)
