Hello,

I'm trying to bring an old Macbook Pro 15" Eary 2008 back to life. Unfortunately one of its RAM slots is dead so it runs on 1GB only. I've read on a lot of threads that it can run up to 6GB (1 slot x 2GB and 1 slot x 4GB), but is it possible to run with a single 4GB slot if I buy 4GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM?

Thanks in advance.
