Yet another screen protector question

i never use screen protectors but my Xs has quite a few annoying scratches so I’m considering it for my next phone.

Are any of the glass ones noticeable when you swipe up? Do you feel the edge of the glass?

Why has everyone moved from the rubber/plastic protectors to glass?

Does apple offer both plastic or glass installations?

The edges are usually rounded so although you can feel the edge, it's not unpleasant.

i normally use the full screen protectors and don't even notice them. my full screen cracked and i had to replace it with one that just sits in the middle (not on the bezel with the cut out up top) and it is more noticeable. i didn't bother buying a new full screen since i had the middle screen one on hand and knew i was ordering a new phone in the next couple of weeks.

i use the ESR full screen available on amazon.
