OK, so this might be a bit childish, but I was getting pretty fed up about the continued, incessant moaning and whining about O2's upgrade policy.

Seeing as how the tool of choice seems to be the twitter petition, I thought I'd have a go at creating one myself to put the other point of view across ;)

I am really fed up with it myself. Signed.

Though I imagine you will find a lot more whingers signing the other petition than us lot who really don't give a crap and understand the concept of SUBSIDIES and A CONTRACT.

I am so fed up with people complaining about the price of the new iPhone. If you don't want it, don't get it. Simple as that. No need to attempt to slash AT&T's throat.

And... Why use twitter? This form has a poll feature. If you can't get enough of a response by only using twitter then you're using the wrong tool. Why not build the poll here and use twitter to have the others come here?

Because people are under a mistaken impression that twitter petitions matter.

I am just following along in the hilarity, of course. ;) :D

It was just a bit of a tongue in cheek dig at the number of twitter petitions that were being created to complain about O2's pricing policy (and yes, the irony of using twitter to petition against other twitter petitions was completely understood, and that's exactly why I used twitter and not a poll on here).

I didn't expect it to lead to a whole raft of anti-complaining polls, but I did notice at least on other one popped up on here after this I made this one...

I did say in my OP that it was a bit childish ;)
