When using the camera in FaceTime and Photo Booth, the camera image that I see of myself is stuttering (I do not know the photo term-ghosting maybe). In Mavericks it did not do this at all, and was smooth as silk when following my movements. My wife on the other end of he FaceTime reported seeing this stuttering image when I move. I am not very happy with that and am wondering what changed? My MBP mid-2014 has 16 gb ram so it can't be the ram. Thanks.

(MacBook Pro with Retina display, 15 inch retina. Mid-2014. Yosemite 10.10).

Edit: I see it has something to do with not being very well lit. I threw on 3 extra lights in this room and the stutter almost gone. Seems rather fussy to me but it is what it is.
