Yosemite Clean Install or Install via App Store?

Hi guys,

As per title above, how many of you have installed Yosemite via the app store or have you opted for a clean install. I'm currently running Mavericks which was installed directly from the app store - thinking of doing the same for Yosemite.

Opinions please?

I downloaded from the APP store. took about an hour to download and install. Running smoothly

Thanks guys... Think I might just download it via the app store. Not had any issues with mavericks - this was via the app store.

I updated my 2014 Air straight from the App Store and it's working great. I have the 128GB SSD and I gutted all the surplus files and parts that I do not need. Before Yosemite I had it down to 104GB with the few apps that I use on it day to day and once I installed Yosemite it actually gave me an extra 2GB. So now it runs at 106GB - every little helps with these drives, so its a win for me.

When I downloaded it from the App Store I didn't install it, instead I made a bootable usb stick, then done a clean install.
Doing a Time Machine back up of Mavericks first of course.
