Question...I have had a problem for a long time with my iMac 2014 5K, OS X 10.10.3, crashing several times a week, so, I want to install Yosemite from scratch--maybe waiting for 10.10.4, totally clean, then install my needed apps, maybe leaving off some of the junk that may be causing the issue. One thing I would like to save is my old Time Machine backups, even if I don't want to restore most or all of them, as I might have a few files I want to grab. If I do a clean install, then just point Time Machine to the same backup drive, will it just continue with newer backups, but not affect the older ones?

Thanks.
