Hi all,
I've read a few threads regarding this issue as it seems to be quite a common problem. I set my 2010 MacBook to update to Yosemite, it downloaded and restarted but is now stuck at the grey screen with the apple logo and progress bar. The progress bar is stuck at about halfway and has been like this for over 24 hours now, i guessed leaving it might eventually fix it but that doesnt seem to be the case.. What choices do i have to try and get it working again? I dont have backups of my machine anywhere, so what options do i have?
Another problem is that my keyboard plays up often and i have to plug an external keyboard into it, however this is a standard windows style keyboard and is obviously then missing the CMD key which is needed in the boot options if i was to power it off and restart it. Can i just use the windows key on my keyboard?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as there is alot of important work on there which i need to try and access..
Thankyou.
