I have a macbook pro that I use for photography. When I shut the lid or go away for a bit to do other things the mac goes to sleep. When i wake up the mac it has ejected my external hard drive which is where I store my Pictures and lightroom files. The only way i have found to get the finder to reconnect with the hardrive is a restart.

Is there any way to keep this from happening? Or do I just need to shut down my computer every time I want to take a break?
