I just did a full restore with Yosemite. All went smooth until it came time to look for all of my email/calendar/messaging, and contacts accounts. Only Apple's iCloud account, not my Gmall, Yahoo, etc showed up to the dance. I had to manually re-enter them. My Safari passwords were present though. The accounts on my iPad remained unchanged after the re-entry. I am wondering why this occurred and how will this affect my iPad in the next day or so if at all. I never had this problem before with any other Mac OS.

Thank you.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10), 15 inch retina. Mid-2014.

Spoke to Applecare. They said Yosemite is losing the data stored when migrating from Mavericks to Yosemite regarding other accounts. The other accounts are not populating when moving to Yosemite in many cases, not all. They know it is a problem.
