Yosemite not remembering finder window positions

In Mavericks window positions would be remembered after shutting down my Mac.

After upgrading to Yosemite, Finder just puts the windows in bad positions and at strange sizes.

Must I downgrade to Mavericks to fix this issue, or is there a solution in Yosemite?
