Yosemite not working with public wifi login?

My work has a free wifi that I have to accept the terms in a pop-up. When I connect to it, I don't get a prompt and going to a web page just tells me I'm not connected to the network.

Any one else get this?

I have B1 and simply can not connect to wifi. I can, connect to my neighbors but it's so weak I am not able to download B2...

I am connecting just fine from the same computer running OS 10.9.

Stumped.

Do you have pop-ups blocked? Sometimes this can hamper this.

No, it's plain wifi I'm trying to connect with - not via the browser.
