Yosemite on unsupported hardware...running on Mac Pro 1,1 !!!

Soome guys over in the Mac Pro section have successfully used the Tiamo method and re-compiled the boot.efi.

Works on Mac Pro 1,1 and 2,1.

As before, the limiting factor for other older Macs will likely be the GPU.

But no longer need to Hackintosh it to run on MP 1,1. (Needs newer GPU, obviously)

A word to the wise...DO NOT EXPERIMENT ON YOUR MAIN INSTALL ON A CRUCIAL MACHINE !!!!

Far wiser to use a spare drive or clone of important drive.

Runs like a charm, Handoff & Continuity a simple swap away !

Just verified on my own 2,1.

Using the newly released boot.fi I was able to boot up.

Amazed that Apple keeps updating Expansion Slot Utility...not sure why they bother, but GLAD.

Using a Mini-PCI adapted 94360CD gives full Continuity/Handoff support !
