Hoping someone can help...
I'm having problems printing in Yosemite; I'm on the very latest update, but it's also been happening from the final public release, and then all beta updates since:
The first issue is when I try to print from any application, it just hangs and won't go any further, with the spinning beach ball.
Also, if I go to the Printers & Scanners section in System Preferences, again it hangs for a long time, although eventually goes to the control panel, but anything I do inside that again results in a freeze (eg trying to add a new printer). I've reset the printing system, and therefore have no printers installed (as I can't). This happens both with and without my printer plugged in by USB, and I've also restarted multiple times to no avail. Out of interest I also tried to do the same things on another account - including the Guest account - and it does the same thing.
My Mac is a 2011 27" iMac, 12GB RAM, fusion drive.
Hoping someone can help!
Thanks in advance,
Mark
