Why, oh why didn't I stay with Mavericks?

Something very strange happened when i installed Yosemite.

When I preview a sound file (with space bar) the audio gets effected in some way. It sounds like a reverb and bass EQ. It's very annoying when I listen to music with headphones.

iTunes, VLC, Logic and other apps work perfect but Finder can't seem to work properly.

Any one else who had this problem?

I forgot that I installed the app "Hear" some months ago, apparently Yosemite didn't get along with Hear because the problem wouldn't go away until I uninstalled Hear from it's own meny.

This, https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/469353/
was very helpful. Problem solved.
