I have a 2010 Mac Pro running Montain Lion - just installed Yosemite but I'm now greated with two lovely grey screens - one lightly coloured then one dark grey one - I've tried PRAM reset, start in safe mode, start with alt down - nothing! I'm hoping I can go back and reinstall mountain lion?
Seriously, how is this constant botched software updating of any use? Oh my mac no longer works, ill buy another one
Didnt think I'd need to do a clean install - thought that was a thing of the past, not even sure my £2000 cheese greater works anymore.
planned obsoleteness - it just works - I've plugged my clone back up from 10.8.5, held down the option key but I get nothing - just a blank screen? Any one help?
EDIT - I have a tv connected via HDMI - for some reason Y is this secondary display as the main display
