I have just downloaded the Yosemite update - public beta 10.0.2
and other bits and pieces. I was previously running PB 10.0.1
It finished downloading and said it was restarting computer. It never restarted but just hung on black screen with mouse cursor (which still moves). It has been about 15 minutes.
Is it safe to hard shutdown - especially since I am running it off an external usb hard drive. I have not had any problems in the past with updates.
