Apple's next Apple Watch activity challenge is set to take place on June 4 to celebrate Global Running Day. Apple started hosting an activity challenge for running day last year.

To complete the challenge, Apple Watch owners will need to record a running workout of at least five kilometers (aka a 5K run) on June 4.
Let's run this one together. On June 4, record a running workout and go at least 5K (3.1 mi) to earn this special badge. Record it with any app that adds workouts to Health.
Completing the challenge will provide Apple Watch users with a dedicated award in the Fitness app along with animate stickers that can be used in the Messages app.

Last month, Apple provided a limited-edition pin to celebrate Global Close Your Rings day, which Apple introduced to highlight the 10th anniversary of the Apple Watch.

I’m not changing my routine for this.
I run already 10K on Mondays. Then 6K of hiit on Thursday and Saturday
Other days I either lift or play basketball or have karate
Oh well

Yeah, I'm mostly a four to eight miles every other day sort of guy. So long as it isn't raining I'll be doing it.
I've done a few four mile runs as feelers and would love to get up to 10k's. I just need to be very cognizant of pacing. I know it will have to be sooner than later as we are about to get into humid part of the year and that always kills my running.

Maybe a goal for the fall if my knees cooperate. ;)

I’d love to buy an Apple Watch again, but they’re so far behind Garmin with respect to exercise/ sleep reporting I can’t go back. It’s one thing to collect all the data but it’s another thing to interpret the data and report it back to the user in useful ways.

I'll see what my Whoop says about my recovery level and other metrics (since my Apple Watch Ultra 2 with Apple Health doesn't tell me crap... hell it tells me the next day after running a half marathon how well I did and can I beat that number today... WTaF?)

If people only realized that running is one of the worst forms of cardio in terms of the wear and tear on your joints (yes, even on treadmills although that is better than running outdoors). Have fun running now, because you will be hobbling with a cane or walker later, depending on how long you make it. There are far better ways to get your cardio in than running. It's 2025, not 1897.
