You can now pay for a Dell with Bitcoin

I thought for sure MacRumors would have mentioned this by now and was really surprised that they haven't, so I guess I'll do it. Dell is now accepting Bitcoin in their online store:

Until now, the biggest company to accept Bitcoin was Dish network, and Dell is about 4 or 5 times bigger than them- so it will be interesting to see what kind of an impact this has, and if it inspires other bigger companies to follow suit...

I don't think it will do much to increase the acceptance of Bitcoin. I think it will remain a niche or fringe method of payment for the foreseeable future.

People who use BitCoin aren't buying Dell.
