Powerbook g4 ti 500. Help please

Hi everyone. I try to install OS X 10.3 on mi old PowerBook g4 ti, but installation say : “you cannot install mac os x on this volume. an early version of mac os x is not installed 10.3”

So is that any kind of update/upgrade OSX version of Panther You're booting from?
