Like most everyone, I got my new iphone4 (on the 23rd actually) and about a half hour later realized I had NOBODY to try out FaceTime with. This was before Apple annouced you can FaceTime with them to try it out.

Anyways, my wheels were already turning, and I decided to build a social networking site/dating site, for FaceTime users to meet and find people to talk to.

I based it on a dating platform for now until I can 1. see if it will work, and 2. come up with something better.

I think if it works, it would be pretty cool to call up a mechanic buddy in another state and actually show them what you are working on, etc. It would be cool to face to face talk with people around the world!

So I started http://www.ftdate.com The site is FREE, so I'm not trying to spam, just build a big community. 1.7 million sold in 3 days, SOMEONE out there would like to talk, im sure.

So check it out, let me know what ya think. Help me get it going!

"Total Male Members: 11"

Sounds a bit like ChatRoulette I'm afraid...I gather there are quite a few "male members" on there too...

Ya like I said, I don't love the software but I wanted to see how it works before I set up something big.

And it's not really meant to be a phone sex site. I assumed there would be more male members. Id like it to be a networking site as well. Like I said, help it grow.

I think someone beat you to it--the XXX industry. Read a news story yesterday about ads offering free personal use of an iPhone 4 (for women, sorry dudes), if you agreed to be a Facetime phone sex model :D

Ya i read the article as well. I'm not running a porn site though. And I actually bought thendomain before they posted that, so I was actually first.

And usually spam doesn't respond to posts and they are usually selling something.

I smell spam! :rolleyes::apple:
