You Get Your 5s Preorder On Release Date?

Never preordered one before so I am curious. My first iPhone was the 5s and I did not buy it until a few months later.

We all the chatter/rumors/doom and gloom maybe this will help some with what they may expect. And this preorder volume was unprecedented so obviously if one got the 5s, it may not hold true for the 6 iterations.

Which carrier and color might be helpful as well. Thanks much.

I waited in line at my local VZW last year, was #3 at about 30 mins from open, got the exact color/config I wanted, 5s/Silver/32GB

The 5s was not available for preorder. You had to buy in store on the day of release.

No Apple Stores here in West Virginia. What helped me was VZW is a less prominent carrier here. There were still ~20 people in line when the doors opened.

When I went by AT&T after I bought my 5s, there were over 100 people in line, with many lining up the day before.
