Swear that my days on this Earth go by and go by and not a lot of things change.

You ever get that moment of clarity and just absorb a moment of clarity to make sense of LIFE and how things really are on this Earth?
What is to become of one when we are all the same?

think about it

I loved the way you wrote that post.

Yeah, I do.
And that's cool.
I want to go take a shower now. Haha.... don't ask. I think showers are spiritual in a way.

Good showers, yes, definitely a cathartic experience. My shower however has a hair-trigger on the hot/cold balance and at full height the stream of water hits me in the middle of the back. I hate my shower.

I really didn't know i was suppose to enjoy a shower.....i just get in scrub real well and get out....really hot water is not good to stand in for long.

Thinking is my refuge....makes the bad go away

Bless

Most showers have shower heads that allow you to adjust water temperature. ;)

A moment of clarity? Absolutley, when comming down off the slope of a very busy acid trip. But that hasn't happened to me since Madonna's first album went gold. :)

yeah, I have moments of clarity, at a bunch of random moments.

While they certainly are helpful and give me pause, they are hardly a grandiose expression of philosophical understanding or transcendence.

It usually involves me realizing that I should get out of my own way, and realizing that I am all too often an idiot.

Everybody thinks they're an ontologist these days.

No doubt.

Even worse, everybody knows that being is always the being of a being, but nobody wants to deal with the fact that the being of a being is not a being.

That's because of your delicate feminine sensibilities....:p
You've obviously never seen someone after a good cry. Nothing feminine about that. :shakes head:

I kinda have to stay in for a long time. My hair is soooo thick and takes so long to get washed and detangled.
When not rushed, I generally stay in the shower for 45 minutes, so obviously I think a lot of the time while fooling with my hair.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go meditate. Seriously. :p

Yeah. I was sitting here, eating my muffin, drinking my coffee, and I had what alcoholics refer to as a moment of clarity

Moments of clarity are what keeps the human race going. Without them, there would be no point to life.

Like amatuermacfreak, I too will also go meditate. :)

Yes, but unfortunately it is when I get a piece of work back that had one mistake or two, despite the 1000+ mistakes I already corrected. The clarity usually involves realizing that it is easier to be the person who receives the mostly corrected version, not the person who corrected that version. If only **** ran uphill.
