Any places you recommend that are good for advertising where people are more likely to check out your app? Or suggestions? Just hard to get noticed with all the other apps out...

If you're willing to spend some coin, Gruber provides an affordable ($5,500) way to get your app in front of a million engaged mac addicts. Otherwise, you could try sending it out to prominent mac journalists (e.g. Ihnatko) for review. If they like it enough, they might write up something about it.
