I'm not sure why I just now thought of this, but this is something that I've noticed for a while. It is rather cumbersome to alternate between the different folders in the native mail app. It takes several steps when it could easily take one. Are there any third party apps that do this?

You can customize what mailboxes appear on the main screen of the mail app. Just click the Edit button on the top right and you can add in any mailbox you want.

With the 6+ in landscape mode it's easier to select the folders because they are on the same screen.

I use MailBox on my iPhone 6. It takes two taps: one to bring up the list, and another to select the folder.

I really like MailBox. It has other features that make managing email really simple with a flick of your finger. I tried Google Inbox for a while after MailBox and I find MailBox more superior. It also handle multiple accounts with ease, where as Google Inbox can't.

Agreed, I like Mailbox too. Tried Google Inbox but found it too cumbersome.
