search in the settings app.

launch settings, scroll up and you can search within the settings app

navigating settings > general > usage > battery usage (just an example, i don't check my battery every 5 min like some) can be annoying.

also it woulld help if you forgot where a certain setting is.

maybe iOS 9.

You can tell Siri to take you to some settings directly, but not all.

Try "open safari settings" or "open iCloud settings".

There was an app for this. It made it very convenient to set up a single icon to launch into these types of menu trees from the notification screen.

Apple removed it from the App Store
