i just found this handy little program today. im sure many of you already know about it, but im willing to bet that there are many more who dont. its basically a little app that adds a hell of a lot of functionality to the boring google search bar in safari. you can add search engines, tags, etc. lets say i want to search for images of the eiffel tower on images.google.com... i just type:

img eiffel tower

ok, so maybe this wont excite other people like it excites me, but ive set it up for imdb, freedb, amazon, images.google, this website, macupdate, etc etc. it makes it really easy to add new searches too.

anyways, give it a try. http://www.pozytron.com/?acidsearch

Acid search is pretty great, the lack of searching with the standard safari search bar is partially what kept me with firefox for so long. I only wish it were a little easier to switch your search similarly to how it is done in firefox.
