I'm personally surprised it's not coming to the iPad 2. I mean, it has the A5 (the main difference between the iPhone 4 and 4S), it has speakers and a microphone, so what's the difference? Unless this means the 4S has more RAM?

I could see that.....

Having Siri in my iPad is like having Siri in my Laptop, rather pointless.

But in my iPhone, that makes more sense since its the device that is always in my pocket, its always with me and its the device I use a lot more for personal stuff (like my alarm, appointment reminders, contacts, texts, map, wether indicator etc...)

Technically I am sure the iPad 2 can run Siri, as well as the iPod touch, but Siri does require an internet connection for some task and those two device (non 3G iPad) I can see it not working unless your on WiFi (which I am not alway).

Apparently the iPhone 4S might only have 512mb of ram (the same as the iPad 2). With the higher clocked A5, the iPad 2 should theoretically be able to run Siri better than the iPhone 4S. There's no reason why the iPad 2 can't have Siri.

Uhh.. I don't think it is pointless at all. Lots of people use iPads for things Siri brings.

Of course they will.

Didn't you see the video of the woman using Siri to bake a cake? It's even easier to imagine an iPad being there.
