You Tube - Defining Your Search???

hi,

just wondering if there is an app that will allow me to define a search, ie once you have typed a word or subject into the search field and the results are displayed.

is there a way to then select either today or this week, this month or anytime?

its really fustrating the app that apples provides with the ipad in OS and i was wondering if there is a better one that has better functionality?...
