You tube not working

Hello, I have a 3GS jailbroken phone version 3.1.2(7D11). I'm in the UK and as I gave it to my wife it now runs on the Vodaphone network.
iTunes is at 10.1.1

For some reason i get a message displaying "cannot connect to YouTube" when trying to use the app.

I did a hard restart with no resolution.

Any other suggestions? is it safe to restore to factory settings or will I 'brick' the phone when it tries to update to 4.2?

I'm not very good technically so i'm limited to what suggestions you may leave.

You need a pushfix cause sounds like your iPhone was hactivated without using an official sim to activate.
Look for a fix on Cydia.

Yes, on cydia, just search for something to the extent of "push fix" just type in "push" and it should come right up. Same thing happened to my youtube, but that fixed it.

Cannot connect to youtube

After a replacement iphone 4 screen i couldn't connect to youtube. This was due to the date being wrong. All sorted now.
