Is it possible to save You Tube video files on my laptop and converter to Ipod compatible file format and than transfer to Ipod via Itunes. I always dont have wi-fi connection so would be great to save the vids on my Ipod.

June 9 is coming what will it bring!!:)

There are many apps to do this (search please), but TubeSock is probably the nicest one.

There's an app (if you have your iPod jailbroken) that allows you to download videos from youtube directly to your iPod.

It's called MxTube.

Hope that helps.

I agree, its so much easier just to get MxTube and save youtube videos directly on your ipod. It has an easy to use interface like that of the iTunes wifi music store.
