You can create your own YouTube icon if you want. Mac and IOS devices use totally different operating systems, Mac's use OS X and IOS devices (iPod, iPhone & iPad) all use.....well duh IOS. If you want to create your own icon and save it to your Desktop or Dock it's reasonably easy to do.

But how do you want to employ it on your Mac? There is no YouTube app, but you could make a Dock icon out of the saved URL:

I looked at that but looked complicated, for an old geezer. But your suggestion inspired me to copy url to a sticky and it works great. No icon, but I know I can assign that url as a link to any small picture. Viola...icon!
