What advice do you have for sharing an iPod with a 4 year old?

I have a couple of 4 year old grandchildren - one likes watching movies on my iPod. I have 3 earphone sets and a couple of headphones, but he watches more often without sound than with sound. He loves changing movies, but occasionally needs me to drill down to where they are.

I think the supplied earbuds work best - fitting his ear, although he only uses one. I split the audio to a second headset so I can monitor loudness while he's watching.

You can limit the volume beforehand so they can't make it too loud, go to Settings==>Volume Limit on the iPod to do it, you can set a password for it too if you want...
