i'd have to say the app i like the most is iTunes, it's just a great program... Appleworks isn't too bad at some things...

:)
pnw

1. Photoshop
2. iTunes
3. RISK
4. Dark Castle

...and who says you can't get any good apps for the Mac?

Photoshop #1
Lightwave #2
Starry Night Pro#3

Anyone see the planets line up last night? It was very cool, Saturn, Venus and Mars made a triangle. And they'll do it again tonight, I just hope that it won't be cloudy, last night here in DC was perfect. Not only that but Jupiter and Mercury were also visible. This won't happen again until 2042 and won't really be a good viewing in the Northern Hemisphere since its in September. So I probably won't see it again. Very cool, here's a screen shot from Starry Night Pro show the three planets. Maybe its a good sign for WWDC?

I may get flamed for my choices here...

Graphic Design: Freehand (Photoshop is a very useful tool...but I don't know nearly as much about it as I do Freehand)

Internet: LimeWire & IE

Media: iTunes (helps "cure" my boredom while at home...he he he)

Adobe Illustrator. It was the first graphic app that I ever learned, and I know it the best. I really enjoy photoshop as well, but Illustrator is my baby.

Photoshop

Far and away the most enjoyable program i've used. I don't know how they managed it, but the interface is just... simple, and extremely powerful.

My favorite apps in alphabetical order are:
Adobe Photoshop (waiting for 7). I can easily edit images.

Appleworks 6. I can design so many graphics real easily.

Graphing Calculator 2.2 from Pacific Tech. It can graph so many functions in math, and even do online integrations, but it does not run natively in OS X. The guys at Pacific Tech said that they will not support OS X. Shame on them...

iMovie. I use this to edit music.

iTunes. When my parents are not home I play the music so loud I cannot hear myself type. I'll admit, I am sort of an mp3 junkie.

Limewire. Excellent application.

Netscape 6.2.1. I know, it's heavy and somewhat slow. I want Mozilla, but I will wait until the final version is released.

Strata 3D Base 3.5. I can design 3D graphics for free. Not bad, huh?

Quicktime 6 Beta 1. So far, I have seen only improvements and this is only the first beta.

Any time is a great time for iPod.

My favorite apps are:

1.Omniweb 4.1BETA6 (The one released today, IT ROCKS!)
2.REALbasic
3.Carracho
4.Quicktime 5 Pro
5.Painter 7
6.AppleWorks
7.Stuffit DX
I have MANY more favorites but I just can't think of them right now.

i will honestly tell you which app i use the most

gasp....microsoft internet explorer

i used netscape navigator/communicator the most on my computers until it got "busy"

Photoshop is becoming rapidly my favorite, I started using it couple of months ago, and just love it.
Illustrator is runner up
Bryce 5 have used a demo, and must say it was just great, in 5 min I had a great looking background, and could make it move, though on an iMac 450 it is not what you call a good team, took forever to render 5 sec image.
Also imageready is great for the 'tars (thxs Duke)

Must say that all apps provided with X are great, like network util, dock, ....
Love actually every app that is available on mac, and is my interest direction.

 don't like peecee apps, stinks when working with them, difficult

I used it some time back, but lost it after I upgraded to X last year.
Didn't know the name anymore, so thxs DukeStreet(again)
See if I can find it again. Is it a limited version? I recall that I had a 30-day version or so.
You know if there is a X-version on the way?

In no particular order........

Photoshop
Combustion
Commotion
AfterEffects
Director

Each one is essential for what I do...... and I love using all of the above...!!
:D
