Your computer restarted due to a problem

I came home from work and my computer said it restarted due to a problem. Ran system diagnostics nothing wrong. So it is not a hardware issue. So what can be wrong?

macOS Monterey is wrong. My MBP also did the same thing multiple times for no reason.

I am running Catalina (10.15.7)

It doesn’t know what went wrong, only that it crashed and rebooted and it’s letting you know that.
In the past we used to get this alert (all too frequently).
It was equally vague.

It has happened to me a handful of times on my Mini over the years. Hasn't made any noticeable difference to how it runs.
