'Your computer was restarted because of a problem' Fixed in Big Sur?

Kernel panic errors appeared in Catalina, sometimes crashing operations and sometimes seen only after trying to shut down and getting an automatic restart "because of a problem." Seemed to be related to long up-times with Chrome and/or Firefox browsers idling. If you had this with Catalina, did it go away with Big Sur? Late 2015 iMac 21.5-inch display.
