With the imminent release of iOS 5 just around the corner (hopefully) and the ability to FINALLY set your own SMS and email tones, I thought it would be good to have a thread where people can post their favorites. Go crazy with your links and attachments please. :)

Currently using the regular mail tone along with the new in ios5 'Tweet' sms sound.

Hi,

Im so used to the tri-tone for sms and a simple ping noise for my e mail now Im not sure if i'll bother to change it.

I do welcome the option in the upcoming ios 5 tho in case I change my mind !

Since I'm not jailbroken or running the new OS, my email tone is the standard one. My text tone is Bell, I like them short and sweet. My ringtone is The Imperial March, I have yet to hear it on any other phone.

I'm using Ringtones Uncensored (my own app) to create Talking Ringtones using 40 TEXT-TO-SPEECH voices & hundreds of sound FX! i.e. "Todd, you have a text message." Now, nobody will have the same ringtone/text-tone!

Will be using multiple Windows Phone 7 tones. I suggest them for anyone who wants cool simple tones (think of like Tron mixed with Apple's TriTone style).

With this phone and my old phones for the last 2-3 years, I have been using the Super Mario 1-up sound for text messages
