Hmmm.....I could use one of those fancy toothbrushes.

Do you recommend any particular model? There seems to be a quite a number of different models on Amazon, ranging from $40 to well over $100........

We use Sonicare brushes in our house. Very effective cleaner but the vibration on your teeth takes a little getting used to. FYI, replacement heads are $10-$15 a piece and should be replaced every 3 months. The brushes now come with a UV sterilizer.

Well, I just placed an order with Amazon for a couple of Sonicares. Thanks for the input guys. I didn't expect to end up buying new toothbrushes as a result of clicking on this thread.:p

You can get them a little cheaper on Amazon, especially through Subscribe & Save.

I like the arm and hammer stuff, but if you've got coffee stains, a good electric toothbrush and I don't know if you've seen em, but a dental eraser worked wonders for getting those same stains off of my teeth.

1992......that was a good year.........:D

$99 for a toothbrush, that's just crazy to me.
Yup, call me crazy for wanting healthy, white teeth...lol
Well, you heard him NYR99......time to return it.

@NYR99: Is your username Gretzky-related?
Haha..."Hello Walmart...I would like to return my year-old toothbrush".

And yes, New York Rangers is my favorite sports team. And Gretzky is my favorite player and #99 is my favorite number.

You'd be surprised at what they'll take back. I know someone who returned their very used 1 year old George Foreman grill without the box or receipt.....and they gave him store credit.

I was a huge Gretzky fan growing up in the 80's........when he was traded to the Kings, I got a white Kings Gretzky jersey. The Rangers got him in the twilight of his career, but he was still amazing to watch.

Now you have McCabe, aren't you lucky!;)

I wish I could have seen him in his prime, but I'm 25. I started watching hockey in '97 I believe.

Yeah, I was just a little kid in the 80's, but I still remember being in complete awe.

Just wanted to say that the Sonicare is absolutely amazing. I can't believe it took me this long to get one.

Do you guys leave it on the charger at all times when you're not using it, or do you only charge it when it runs down?

I'll use any good brand, as the formulas are practically the same. And a standard toothbrush which still remain several times more effective than electric ones.
